Glycoanalysis

Accurate analysis of protein glycosylation is crucial for a range of applications, including :  process development & manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, life science & pharma research, glycodiagnostic & biomarker tools, stem cells and food applications.

Procognia's advanced, validated, proprietary technology for high throughput glycoanalysis on lectins array is the fastest and most effective solution, applicable for the above applications.

Procognia's glycoanalysis solution is delivered in two products developed with the technical know how and experience of the company:

1. GlycoScope^TM

GlycoScope^TM is an integrated technological platform for the analysis of recombinant monoclonal antibodies and complex biopharmaceutical glycoproteins.

GlycoScope^TM enables analysis of dozens of samples concurrently for same-day results. The analysis can be performed on cell lines supernatants with low protein amount and on bioreactor crude harvest samples with minimal sample preparation as well as on pure bulks. Results are rapid – up to 6 hours – and automatic data analysis is complete within 1 to 2 minutes. Glycoscope ^TM is user-friendly, requiring basic laboratory skills for easy operation.

GlycoScope^TM Analysis Provides:

Quantitative glycan distribution list - the relative distribution of glycan types and epitopes. Quantitative results are calculated from the fingerprint signals using proprietary algorithms.

Fingerprint - a graphic representation of the binding signals. Lectins are grouped according to their binding specificity. The fingerprint is highly sensitive to changes in the glycosylation pattern of the sample

 

    2. Qproteome^TM GlycoArray kits

The Qproteome GlycoArrayTM is an off-the-shelf kit for  glycoanalysis of purified proteins. Launched in 2006, this innovative product provides a fast and simple tool for 4-level quantification glycoanalysis, with the capability of analyzing up to 12 samples concurrently. Designed for low resolution glycoanalysis for a large range of samples, the product features manual processing, stand-alone software and can be used with the customer's scanner.
